Antigone - Pesonal Experience
The following is a quote from Antigone. It is part of one of the Chorus' speeches: "For what is destined for us, men mortal, there is no escape." Read the quote very carefully... Think about what it says... Write a response that explains what the quote means and whether you agree or disagree with the meaning. The heart of Antigone is a moral dilemma (a problem where there is no good solution). The dilemma in the play requires a difficult choice between law and conscience, law and religious beliefs and law and loyalty to a friend or family member.
